Last week, at least 35,000 people attended one or more of the more than fifty events of the fifth Dutch Technology Week. That’s 25% more than in 2015. This year’s DTW focused on themes like Smart Cities, Smart Mobility and Health.

The DTW organization is satisfied. Frits van Hout, director of ASML and chairman of the DTW: “It was a successful week in which the region put itself more clrearly in the picture. For example, around the theme Smart Mobility the test track in Helmond here did a great job: all new mobility ideas can be tested here and be further developed. What happens here, is unique in the world, it attracts major car manufacturers in Europe and beyond.”
