More than 200 applications were had to be judged for the new accelerator Collider in Amsterdam. Eindhoven based Findur eventually became one of eight admitted startups in this program dedicated to marketing, sales, and adtech. Collider has been successful in London for years, but this round is its first in Amsterdam.

According to Collider, the selected startups are going to help brands and agencies to investigate, locate, reach, manage, and convert customers in a better and smarter way. Collider supports them with “cash, coaching, and connections”. The accelerator focuses on finding the interaction between startups and brands, and the commercial value they can deliver.

With Findur, a customer can see exactly what is currently available at the stores in the vicinity and then go and fit and buy the items in the real (physical) store. Among the affiliated stores are big names like the Bijenkorf, WE Fashion, van Haren and Hunkemöller. According to the founders, the app brings consumers back to the city center.

Ellen Bark-Lindhout, co-founder, and director of Collider Amsterdam: “I am very excited about this first cohort. Our angel investors made the final selection and opted for strong founders with a beautiful range of services within our scope.”
